Data Deletion Instructions
You can remove Spend Stats's access to your Facebook account and request deletion of the data we store about you at any time. There are two ways to do this.
Option 1: Remove the app in your Facebook settings
- Open Facebook and go to Settings & Privacy → Settings.
- Select Apps and Websites in the left menu.
- Find Spend Stats in the list of active apps.
- Click Remove and confirm. Tick the option to delete posts, videos or events the app may have published (the app never publishes anything, so this list will be empty).
Removing the app revokes our access token immediately. Facebook then sends us an automated data deletion request, which we process right away: your tokens and personal details are deleted as described below. Facebook shows you a confirmation code and a status link of the form https://meta-tool.top/data-deletion/status/<code>, where you can verify that the deletion was completed.
Option 2: Email us
Send an email to [email protected] with the subject "Spend Stats data deletion request". Include the name and email address of the Facebook account you used to connect, so we can locate your records. We will confirm receipt within 3 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your Facebook user ID, name and email address.
- All access tokens issued to Spend Stats for your account.
- The list of advertising accounts and business portfolios associated with your connection.
- Any pending connection or notification records linked to you.
What is retained
Aggregated daily spend metrics of the advertising accounts (amount spent, impressions, clicks per account per day) are business records of the advertising account, not personal data about you. They are retained by the Spend Stats team for financial reporting and are kept in a form that no longer identifies you once your personal data is deleted. Technical server logs are deleted automatically within 30 days.
Reconnecting
If you later need to use Spend Stats again, you can reconnect via the link provided by your team lead. A new connection creates new records; previously deleted data is not restored.
